Myths and truths in sports psychology (1975)
The book examines some of the widely held assumptions about athletic performance in the light of research in social psychology, human abilities, growth and development, learning, and personality. Sample questions are raised within each area and, where possible, are analyzed with reference to research from actual athletic situations.
