Contributions to the politics of leisure (1983)
The four papers included in this supplement contribute to one of the neglected areas of study within Leisure Studies namely the Politics of Leisure. Many fear that they are going to spend the next ten years or more being ruled by the New Right. What are the consequences and more importantly what is the political potential of leisure as a mediated set of practices in contributing to some form of counter-hegemonic bloc?
