Health service impacts and costs of falls in older age (z.j.)

The purpose of this paper is to estimate the health care impacts and costs of falls in older age and to examine how these impacts and costs vary by age and gender through a review of literature published in the last 10 years. 19 papers included in the review are mainly conducted in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom (UK) and United States (U.S.) but also some studies conducted in Finland, Sweden and Switzerland.
