In 2005 publiceerde het Health Research Institute van PricewaterhouseCoopers het rapport HealthCast 2020. In dit rapport stond de duurzaamheid van het zorgstelsel centraal. ‘HealthCast The customization of diagnosis, care and cure’, is in april 2010 gepresenteerd en is de opvolger van HealtCast 2020. In het document staat de patiënt centraal.
