Database management Accommodatiemonitor sport (AMS) (intern rapport)

The main question of this thesis is as follow: What database model and system are most suitable to use within the ‘Accommodatiemonitor Sport (AMS)’ project and how can the existing AMS spreadsheet be converted to a (spatial) database system? To answer this question, several sub-questions are formulated: 

• What kind of database models and systems are existing?
• What are the intern and extern users’ needs and requirements?
• Case study: How can the AMS file be converted to a well-organized database system?
• To what extend did the database improved, taking duplication, uniformity and (time) efficiency into account?
