Principles and practice of sport management (1998)

This book is a key for the preparation of future sport managers. It is a training manual for understanding the sport industry. The text provides substantive information on sport management, sport law, sport marketing, sport finance, sport ethics, and sport history. These principles are then applied to all of the segments of the sport industry; from high school, collegiate, and professional sport to international sport and European sport club systems to health, fitness, and recreation. The text also introduces all of the support systems necessary to sustain the sport industry (broadcasting, media relations, and facility and event management).
