Recreation and leisure (1991)
issues in an era of change, third edition
The genesis of this, the third edition of ‘Recreation and Leisure: Issues in an Era of Change’, was a conversation between the co-editors about twelve years ago. The field of parks, recreation and leisure services has changed markedly in the past decade or so. The authors were convinced that a book devoted to issues in the field could be valuable in may ways. Of the 33 chapters here, 24 appeared in the 1985 edition. Five chapters from the revised edition were deleted. Seven new chapters have been added.
